This thesis focuses on the analysis and correlation of demographic statistics with the real estate market development. It is based on statistical samples of real estate prices in Brno-city and Brno-country and dependency analysis of demographic indicators of development in these regions. I compare less profitable properties with more profitable and looking for dependency rates. Based on the information, I propose the most appropriate investment strategy.

Material history of planetary urbanization

The diploma thesis deals with the final urbanization of the planet term from a materialistic point of view. The distribution of freshwater, energy consumption and especially agricultural food production are the basic factors which, together with logistics and demography, form fundamental drivers of material history. The "Malthusian" fear of a situation where the world's population is running out of resources accompanies contemporary rhetoric. The aim of the work is to try to find and explore solutions to the material necessities of humanity and to design organizational principles, systems, urban and architectural solutions.

Analysis of Attendance of Schools in the Town Třebíč

This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of demographic indicators of the town Třebíč. It analyzes the present state of preschool and school institutions in this town. Statistical methods of time series application are utilised here. The main objective is to make a prognosis of number of children entering kindergartens and primary schools depending on number of the born children. Predicted number is compared with the existing capacity of these institutions.

Analysis of Economic Indicators Using Statistical Methods

The Bachelor’s Thesis analyses through statistical and demographic methods the structure of the population of Czech Republic in a past representation and future projection, in relation to its workforce. The methods of processing the time series and the demographic relations are presented in the theoretical part and these methods are further elaborated in the practical part. The results of the Bachelor’s Thesis that have been discovered by the analysis are assessed in the Conclusion that also contains a proposition of a solution as a contribution to the situation ascertained. The Attachment of the Bachelor’s thesis is a statistical calculator programmed in VBA to facilitate the calculations.

The subject of this bachelor thesis is an analysis of demographic trends and school attendance prognosis in Přerov. The main objective is to make a prognosis of number of pupils who enroll in primary schools in the coming years depending on the number of born children. In addition, research of employees is done at each school and analyzing trends in the number of employees is performed depending on the number of pupils. Bachelor thesis contains theory of time series and regression analysis.

The implications of China’s aging population to the nation and the world

Population changes have been identified as among the global challenges in recent decades. While advanced economies have experienced an ageing population, underdeveloped economies have witnessed a surge in the birth rate. Arguably, this issue has been a Chinese issue since the second half of the twentieth century. Against this backdrop, this bachelor thesis tries to assess the dynamics and implications of the size and age structure of the Chinese population within the country and the World. Secondary data was obtained from reputable sources for the analysis. Using a descriptive approach, the findings show that China's ageing population brings opportunities and difficulties for the country and the rest of the world. There are chances for innovation and growth in industries like elder care and technology, although there are enormous economic and societal challenges, such as a diminishing workforce and growing healthcare expenditures. The demographic trends in China also affect the rest of the world, especially in East Asia, where ageing populations are a common worry. Ultimately, this thesis helps us better comprehend how China's ageing population affects the country and the rest of the world. It emphasizes the requirement for legislative actions to address the problems and seize the changes by demographic shifts.

Demografická a socioekonomická analýza mikroregionu Velkomeziříčsko-Bítešsko

The subject of this master’s thesis is the analysis of selected demographic and socioeconomic indicators in the microregion of Velkomeziricko-Bitessko in the years 2011-2021. In this time period, indicators informing about the state and movement of the population are first analyzed, followed by indicators related to economic activity and the labor market. For selected indicators is crated prediction of their possible development until the year 2030 by using the method of time series smoothing with an appropriate mathematical function. The results of the thesis can serve as a basis for developing of a new strategy for the development of the microregion. A significant contribution is also the created map of the microregion, which has not been published anywhere before.
